^ Splen...mine is hinged and shown laying flat in the photos. It needs to be down to accommodate the outboard when it's out of the water. I'm not sure I really need it as I've never experienced water on the deck, but I do use it each time.
Not fully shown but you can see the rod holder that's...
I got mine (and the sealant too) from Jamestown Marine via mail order, based on hose size.
I also followed the advice on epoxy sealing the raw fiberglass material prior to putting in the new thru hull and was generous with the sealant. Mine has held up just fine. Shows some patina on the water...
Not a lot of detail here, but should show you what it looks like from the inside. I had access to mine from the rear wall of the cabin, not sure if your boat is the same or similar.

Hope everyone survived ok. Saw some pictures from Salem/Marblehead of a number of boats underwater and a few beached. It was blowing and raining pretty hard Wednesday night.
I use pvc pipe. Snaps together and apart easily for re-use. THe cross pieces have enough tension to keep the tarp from sagging too much. I'll go out and brush off snow a few times during the winter. It's a work in progress, I kept the same system from a previous boat. I need to add another 2...
Thanks for the input Dale. The number I keep kicking around in my head is 22K but it's only loosely based a 'feeling'. With no hard data to compare, it's hard to know whether that's crazy high, crazy low or just about right. :?:
And as I said, this is just a thought at the moment...probably...
Hello All-
Was a great (if short) season. More socializing and sitting than fishing which has lead me to consider a change. My wife loves everything about the boat *except* the porta potty situation. She'd like a boat with a dedicated private head and truthfully I can't blame her, especially...
