Nice job. I saw one of those on a cc t-top last summer. Been wanting to add one to my 2520 ever since. They looked like they were well made. If the quality is there the price is easier to accept. Great the way it retracts out of the way when fishing and not dealing with all those Bimini poles.

Do the 300's give that much better performance? I have looked at both on yamaha's performance test charts. The only boat I found close to a parker for comparison where they were both mounted on identical hulls with identical weights was a steiger 28dv. The speed difference was only 3 or 4 mph...

Thanks for the reply MaxOut. I guess I was under the misunderstanding that The I/O got better fuel economy. I have always liked the outboards for winter use and ease of maint. Looks like your only a couple miles up the road. Do you boat in the Patuxent much or mostly in the Bay? Jim
