I run my laptop with a digital tuner that plugs into the usb port. I get 8 digital channels and come in HD quality. I bought the tuner card and antenna on ebay for 55.00 or so. Just look up digital usb tv tuner.

I just upgraded from a 178c garmin to a garmin 546s. It is a little more than you want to spend but it is a nice combo unit with the optional chip installed. I found the unit online for 858.00 shipped

Thanks for the help. I use salt away to flush the motor and will try some on the engine with a light rinse down.

I have a 2006 f150 Yamaha 4 stroke and during the last service I noticed salt building up on the motor under the cowling. Is it ok to rise down the motor with the cowling removed.

Just go with a regular hook but bend down the barb.

I gut my bnc cable and have no issues

Just found the one I had but it is the newer dual latch.

Go with electric thats what I use.
