BOE said 8ft from radar unit. Looks like I have to locate on deck by windlass next to starboard nav light. At least the anchor locker is there and can run line thru there.

Nice looking 28 ft boat. I just got a 2013 2520xld in March and love the boat. Traded in a 29ft seaswril stripper with twin 250hp yahama hpdi on it. I love the rear station when fishing alone. I have a 300hp single. I am burning half the fuel and sometimes think the fuel guage is not working.

I got the Garmin 4210 came with boat and added a Garmin 24in H.D. radome for fog and night nav and also use it on my overlay nav system just to keep up on it.

When in choppy water I will trim the engine to bring the bow up high to cut down on spray and it helps make the ride less bumpy. I don't use the trim tabs that I have on my 2520xld
