    Fishing out of Carrebelle FLA

We're very happy with our Parker.....so what's new about that? I don't think I've heard but one or two people who didn't think their Parker was the best. The F150s are very nice. The boat is very stable on plane as well as trolling. It handles rough water very well....just have to slow down...

    Fishing out of Carrebelle FLA

chipperdog; I'm from Lizella. Live off Holley Rd. Have a 2520 with twin F150s. We fish out of Suwannee, FL. A bit further south of you folks. We haven't been fishing much lately. We'll resume in another month or so, when it becomes a bit cooler. We usually fish right thru the winter, when...

This is Some Parker!!! Toilet and All!!!Parker should look!!

Brad; Here are some pictures of the plumbing in my boat for the crapper. #013 is the discharge, which is under the toilet. #017 is the intake from the clamshell thru-hull pickup. It's under the floor of the pilothouse between the helm and passenger seats. #016 is the holding tank, which is...

This is Some Parker!!! Toilet and All!!!Parker should look!!

10-4 Bryan. I'll take a couple of photos next week. It's pretty straighforward. There's a raw water flushing pump. It draws from a clamshell intake and draws water into the toilet and from the toilet to the holding tank. The holding tank is in the bilge between the seats in the pilot house...

My head works great. I keep it flushed and clean. If you "forget" to pump out or overboard, it may get funky. Just don't forget. Mine doesn't reek at all. I treat it with some RV stuff every now and then.....and believe me, I've put some stuff in there a bear would be proud of.

    rust stain removal question?

I use the oxalic acid crystals.......Just mix up a gal jug full every now and then at about medium strength. Use the gal jug to keep your spray bottle topped off. The instructions are on the bottle. I use it for cleaning all stains on gelcoat. Just don't leave it on too long; just a minute...

    Astern handling

Just an afterthought..........My boat has 2 X 150s. I can spin it around almost within its' own length by fwd one motor- rev one motor. Just have to remember not to try to steer with wheel and it takes more revs on the rev motor than the fwd motor. Good fishing!

    Question on windlass

I have a Lewmar and have the same issue sometimes. After I get to the fishing grounds I release my anchor, retrieve it back, and leave it cocked and ready to release when I need it. It works well, and I didn't have to spend any money to fix it. When I'm ready to make the long haul back to the...
