I need the latch that the 'screw' clips into to hold the door shut.

Thanks in advance.

If its the one I think it is in which the screw just clips in between the plastic clip, they sell them at West marine and come in packs of 2 pieces per pack, its a Perko product.

found it. $15 bucks a piece?!?! seems like highway robbery. sad.

I went on the Perko website,it says 2 pieces per pack,so you get 2 pieces for $15.00,still a bit expensive, but better than 1 pc.

I went to Home Depot and got a latch for a kitchen cabinet. It worked perfectly. It cost me $0.89. If they rust I have to replace them every year, so be it. I had to replace 3. So $2.63 vs. $45 do the math.
I'll post pics tomorrow, hopefully this may help someone some day.

Both of the ones that hold my transom doors closed are broken too.
Someday I may get around to replacing them, but if they make noise while under way, I don't hear them. :)

I think when I replace them, I may try a pair of magnetic cabinet latches.
