    1801 trim tabs help!

I have an 1801, and it came with a 115 Yamaha four stroke. It was a little doggie out of the hole with a few people on it. What pitch prop are you running? I have re-powered with a Suzuki 140 with a 19 pitch prop definitely made a big difference.

    Anyone with a 1801 with a 150?

Re-powered my 2001 - 1801 with a 2013 Suzuki DF140A, very happy with it. Burning around 4-5 GPM @ 20kts (23mph). it's about the same as my Yamaha 115. Top end with Suzuki is 37.8kts (43mph) . Nice to have the extra power out of the hole with out the extra 78 lbs of engine hanging of the back if...

    1801 re-power with Suzuki DF140A

Engine is broken in, it's quit nice. Great on gas and very quite. Really enjoying the extra ponies pushing her(had 2001 Yamaha 115 4 stroke). Started out with a 19 pitch aluminum hit 37knots, tried a 18 pitch SS drop speed to around 31knots and hitting the rev limiter (great out of the whole...

    1801 re-power with Suzuki DF140A

can't wait to get her up on plane and breaker her in... had a 2001 yamaha F115, loved it, just felt a little under powered with a few people on board. And I felt the Yamaha 150 was quite heavy @ 485lbs

Went with Durabak, the cream color is almost a perfect match for the parker color.

It's not the sending unit, I did that last year(replaced with a rod unit). It tell you how many gallons per hour you are burning.

    1801 speaker install

Just finished installing speakers and a radio on my boat. Sony Marine radio(52w x 4) with ipod plug in and (4) ma800 Poly Planer box speakers(50w). The front speaks really help out with bass being mounted up front. Great sound.
