Yes...it is a Grouper...most species you catch in the West Central Gulf are Grouper-Black & Red, AJ's, some Trigger Fish, King & Spanish Macks, Tuna to name a few.... The area is fished so much that catching a Grouper this size only 30 miles off shore is a treat...the added bonus was the fish...

I will call a couple of dealers on Monday; however, just curious what people are paying for this service. I was quoted $500-$600 today by a marina that I can get to by water versus taking the boat down from dry dock and trailering. It's more convenient but is the price "in the ballpark". Thanks...

Question for the experts...I went out this weekend with the livewell working at the dock. At some point it stopped working. The pump is the same as the raw water washdown and that works fine. I'm assuming that debris probably got lodged in the hose leading to the livewell. I had 2 families on...

I keep my boat in a high & dry....last weekend I arrived at my boat to find the Yamaha f225 engine cowling badly damaged. The manager explained that a wave pushed the boat back into the fork lift when they were launching the boat. Definitely an accident and I was furious but held my composure...

You could invent a new technique...probably create more holes though.. :)
