    Parker 2320 USCG doc?

Having had both types of registration, a Federally documented vessel is the way to go. Especially if you travel state to state with it. Plus we don't want to give this state anymore funds than they're already draining us on. Biggest thing to note for the original poster, the official...

    Long Haul Trailering? Tips?

When I was young and dumb about a decade ago I towed a 10k pound boat n trailer home about 50 miles with my 1/2ton. Never again. Is it strong enough to stop if someone cuts you off and decides to stop? Idiots on the road.... that's who you plan for. I realize newer half tons are rated for...

    Long Haul Trailering? Tips?

It's a big boat. You will need 3/4 ton or more to legally tow it. 1/2ton is asking for trouble. If it were me I'd have all the bearings replaced in Florida as well as all the brakes. Then I would inspect the tires and replace any that didn't look 100%. Then I would carry two brand new spare...

    New 300 Suzuki

Nice! Very anxious to see your performance numbers. I have the same year and model 99 2520 mv but I have a 2006 suzi 250. I run a 3x16x18.5 prop. I run heavy 126gallon tank full all the time, 65 gallon split bait tank and 100-200lbs of ice, 20 rods, full offshore tackle, tuna tower and I'm...

Bunk or Roller Trailer for Parker 2300 DV CC?

Never buy a roller trailer. Absolutely nothing positive about it, unless you like a wavy hull from the rollers or potentially rolling off the trailer on the ramp. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro

WTB pilot house Fiberglass seating box

Looking for new or used fiberglass seating box that has a storage compartment, a pair would be great. Seats would also be a plus. I will cover freight, if you would be willing to take measurements and a close ballpark weight. PM me please.

    '99 SL2520 seating

Hey All, I have 2 pedestal seats total in my '99 SL2520 MV boat. I'd like to seat at least 2 on the port side and if possible 2 on the starboard side including me. What's the best configuration you all have seen or done? I was thinking a side facing bench seat on the port side with either an...

    My '95 2530

What an awesome thread! I can't find that silver steer uflex cylinder anywhere on the net. Was it discontinued? Do you run the boat from the tower pretty often? I have a tower but have yet to put controls up there. Right now it's just used for spotting while trolling.

Prepping for bottom paint and new scuppers

Yes but Evercoat or 3m has strands of chopped glass in it for strength. Good luck with it. Have you check out some of the other threads here. Most of the repower pictures i've seen with a bracket has the motor mounted a lot higher up on the bracket but have yielded good results.

Prepping for bottom paint and new scuppers

As for the tiny old screw holes, drill them out with slightly larger bits and then spackle some fiberglass filler into the holes until you couldn't get anymore in then once it cures, sand it down so it's flat with the hull and then cover it up with some gelcoat. Evercoat fiberglass filler...

Prepping for bottom paint and new scuppers

I'd still opt for raising the scuppers and filling the little "well" What a ridiculous design by Parker back in the early 90's. Either that or somewhere along the line your 2320 got "heavy" Going back to what i was gonna say last night but didn't want to type it all on my phone.... If there...

Prepping for bottom paint and new scuppers

Additionally if there are barbed fittings on the rear bulkhead and on the inside of the transom connecting the hose end to end, you might want to look at replacing those barbed fittings if they are plastic. The cracking inside the deck is a tell tale sign it might be ready to fail completely...
