    Mold spots?

I appreciate the information on the vinyl, I realized I did not specify where the mold was. 303 was also recommended and I am hoping it will add years to the new covers. Thank you. The mold is under the surface. I have a few spots around the boat similar to this, it is hard to soak verticals...

Hello, ust got new cushions and the stains below the snap are tough. I have read about bleach but these seem unaffected by it. I have yet to make a bar keepers friend paste. Any of you guys have these spots or a way to get them gone? thank you

    Outboard Motor Flushing Bags

I smoked a water pump one spring trying a barrel. I thought I had the water high enough. Big waste of water. Tried the muffs but couldn’t get a reliable pee up top. I have been using the flush port with no issues spring and fall at the house while running, no need to rev. 150 Yamaha. Manual...

New idea to cover up notched transom

Good idea, I took off my 2120 splash guard off for space and quicker cockpit cleaning but I don’t like the opening either. I feel just a little more transom is needed to keep out an occasional splash. I may try your idea but a lower version. Ty for posting. Maybe I’ll cut up the original that...

    2019 2320 recommendation cabin heater

I have used the my buddy. It hangs on two small machine screws right under the helm by your feet. I only bring it down if I am using it so all summer all you see is two small screw heads. It’s nice to take out the chill but it’s hard to dress for fishing but then enter a warm cabin. The heater...

    Fresh water supply for head?

Andy, unsure of the brand. Sorry it’s in the camper. They sell it at Walmart, I use the packets rather than the liquid. Sorry for the delay, I thought the reply posted. I can’t comment on long term but I like the non porta potty smell

    Fresh water supply for head?

I removed the non plumbed head that came with my 2011, 2120. I use a cheap potty from Walmart. We use kitty litter, if it gets used the garbage bag gets dumped and life is simple. If you treat it, keep it treated. I use a formaldehyde free treatment in my camper and it does not take on that...

To Cab Or Not To Cab

I never experienced a CC but the wind break, sun block and short seasons I could not see any other boat to get. Mine are growing 13 and 15 and we still grab a pizza and anchor in a cove and enjoy some time. My kids love to grab the blankets and hang out up front. The ergonomics on the boat are...

Interior height of sport cabin/ pilot house

I have a 2011 2120, I think I made a custom pole 6’1” with maybe a 1/4” to spare. I am 6 foot and no issue. If I was bigger I would just make myself fit for the reasons mentioned. Sun break, wind block, dry storage. Grab the family on a rainy afternoon and pick up a pizza and have dinner on the...

    Starting motor out of water

If you are looking for a flush after running I use the port engine off motor up. Two minutes and the pee water has no salty taste. For running I could not get the muffs to seal and got inconsistent pee. Hose fitting= no issue. 2011 150 Yamaha

    Starting motor out of water

I have said this before and a Yamaha dealer recommended. I run in spring and fall with the hose with no issues at all. I winterize it at idle and run it in Spring before launching. Someone said you will mess it up. Sorry but you are wrong. The bottom gushes and the highest point in the cylinder...

With Static Flush, Do you get water out of your 'tell-tale' ?

Don’t think anything is misaligned and if you get pee when using it all should be fine. Sorry I can’t help on the pee while flushing. A few notes: I smoked my new water pump on my 150 from not getting good flow from the muffs so I am soured for life. A dealer suggested the hose connection...

With Static Flush, Do you get water out of your 'tell-tale' ?

I agree with Sarah F. My tube was plugged up with mud from a wasp one time. Hope your fix is that easy. On my 150 I stopped using the muffs if it’s on the trailer. A dealer told me they use the hose fitting for all of their work if it’s just idling. My muffs could not produce a reliable pee.

    Second station ignition wiring?

Getting my brain around wiring my second station before I do it. If using momentary switches: Do you leave the pilot house key on for the whole trip? Probably no draw but is it good for the outboard? ( Yamaha ) It's more costly: Thought about using another key switch and taping into the pilot...

    2120 outboard mounting holes?

Glad to hear your update and that you can still utilize the trim when the motor is raised all the way up. So it looks like you picked up 300 RPM and 1 MPH from past posts. I know you were messing with props. Does it ride/handle better? Are you leaving it up? Thanks for the news

    2120 outboard mounting holes?

In2Deep, looking forward to hear your results. My prop is a 15M/14.5. Just edited my original post which said it was a 14M. The guy I bought from didn't touch a thing so that's the way White Water Marine sold it. If you need a hand with raising let me know.

2120 bulkhead second station on Long Island

Thank you, great info and pictures kidfreediver. In the back of the helm with the hyd. steering lines. Do they make 90's now or still just the Tee's? I agree, looks like the bend would stress out the line and take up some space.
