Boat For Sale Selling 2007 Parker 2320

Boat is too good to be sitting on the trailer as much as this one is...life doesn't always follow the track you lay out on your DR. I'll list it some time after the first of the year, still cleaning it up and fixing a few minor issues. Looking at $50k as a price point. Boat is in Melbourne...

    Enclosure

I hear you, brother. Couple things you can do to make it easier at the start. Buy a jig for drilling holes in pipe a (and use it), cover the stainless with fiberglass tape and then double stick tape (also known as Seamstick). The fiberglass tape will make the Seamstick easy to remove...that...

    Enclosure

Looks like you have a choice, and it sounds like you should follow this step: New Canvas Installation (NO Snaps on T-Top) If you do, you won't need any special tools to install the snaps because the males will screw into the t-top after you figure out the location.

    Enclosure

I do custom canvas work. I've been called for estimates on custom enclosure (and cushion) work where I've recommended purchasing something online and making whatever modifications are necessary. It can be a lot more cost effective...the price goes up fast where patterning is required. There...

Let's take a minute to talk about safety...

Word, Pelagic2530. Been one of those SAR responders, big believer in the value of an EPIRB. They got off to a rocky start when they first came out - a lot of false pings, going off because they fell over while on a trailer, going off in somebody's driveway - but they've improved a lot along...

    Steering wheel knob?

Went with the Edson, no regrets. Had to put some gasket material underneath it to get a solid grip on the wheel. Those bearings make a world of difference.

    Favorite cup holders?

Gave up on the small bathing suit holder and the plastic fold down ones...the first was killing me and the latter kept breaking off. Come to think of it...nevermind. Went to these - love 'em. Got a couple of places inside the cabin that they attach, and those springs keep 'em where you leave 'em.

    Window Canvas

I do...three pieces, made them so they can each be attached independently but rolled up as one piece. Phifertex material, followed the Sailrite process for patterning and stitching them together.

    Window Canvas

Got an answer for that. Made my window covers for the aft bulkhead and door to roll up...

2520 XLD Seadek for interior cabin

Saw this material at a boat show...it does look good!

2520 XLD Seadek for interior cabin

Seadek has a kit. Mylar sheets, marking pen, tube to send them back. Lay out the sheets, mark the edges and location of cutouts and send them back. They'll make a template and send you a file that shows the dimensions. I highly recommend that you spend a couple extra bucks and have them use...

2520 XLD Seadek for interior cabin

I put Seadek down in my 2320, cabin and aft deck. Good stuff, made here in Brevard County. If you decide to do it yourself, let me know...this was the second boat installation I've done, learned a lot between the first and second.

    USCG Documented Boats

Make sure you get it all correct - unless they've changed their process you pay the application fee every time you submit material. I gooned up the first one, called to make sure I understood what they needed and then followed the directions I got over the phone on submission number two. I...

    USCG Documented Boats

My last boat (Farallon 25) was documented when I bought it. Dealing with the National Vessel Documentation Center to transfer the title to me was expensive and frustrating, to put it mildly. (I was not on active duty at that point. And when I was I was an operator and had nothing to do with...

    One tough boat

That sudden stop musta been brutal. Good to hear nobody was hurt.

    Fuel lines

Yup, you can add my 2007 to the list of boats experiencing idling problems due to a clogged ASV. Got alerted to it by the posts above...thank you!
