Scratch and dent program inflatable boats in Ventura California. 20k out the door

I have to permatrim and to be truthfull it does not need it. Boat flies now on plain. I don't run fast due to living in central cali were we have 4 to 8ft seas. Some days we get nice days and i run at 25mph 36rpm using trim tabs. 4krpm 35mph

The weight difference was at least over 30lbs lighter so to me it made sense. Many of you have asked about my numbers. Im still working on my fuel burn. I still need to hook the new motor up to my Raymarine to get fuel burn data.

Wow! That is an upgrade! Is the boat even rated for a 250? I have a 06 2120 and a tired f150. I run hard 28-30 mph. Fuel burn 2.4 mpg. More like 1.8 mpg loaded. I have considered a 200. My boat max hp is 225. The only problem is weight and fuel capacity.
What is ur fuel burn? How did it effect weight distribution?

Nice Vince! 100% with you on this. If I ever re-power I want to do the same thing. F250 or 300 even.....all the same weight and lighter than older 3.3L Yams. Alt output is 75Amps vs. my 45 on the 06 F225. I run my AC/Heat on an inverter off the docks so the Alternator output is also appealing to me. More power is always better than not enough on a boat. Prop it right and your fuel burn is prob better with the larger motor. I’m a little jealous. Enjoy!

It was a big project. Had to make things fit in places that are difficult in a 2120. You may not need the battery charger depending on how you want to use the inverter as you have that 75A output on that F250. Let me know if you have any questions.
