23 foot Mako gets complete overhaul...slides and video

Being on Long Island I have found a web site by Capt Al who is a well known charter boat captain out of Babylon on the south shore. The "Skimmer" is being completely redone from the deck, transome, gas tanks etc. Step by step slides of the work he is doing. Visit the site at.... skimmeroutdoors.com. I would generaly agree with you but I think his boat is 30 + years old and worked hard . Not a bad life.

We had the just about the same boat when I was a teenager, gold floor and all. I think ours was an 81 model. Good solid, dry boats no doubt.
