I bought my 2005 2310 in San Diego in February of this year. After looking at the Pilothouse models I determined that the WAC model was a better fit for me. I have already put 200 hours on this boat since purchase and have been very happy with build quality and fit and finish. It does have some gel coat cracks but every boat I have owned (this one makes 18) has had them.
My first upgrade was to have the 05 F250 updated with a new exhaust housing, oil pump and impellor as part of the sale. It was showing some corrosion in the housing so best to just get it done. The seller agreed to pay for half. The boat had always lived in a slip near Sea World so I had to source a used trailer. I found a 2012 Pacific galvanized dual axle with electric over hydraulic brakes that was in great condition. It was more than I wanted to spend but it will out last me.
I gotta run for now but will add pics and description of my updates.

Busy day, but now I have time to add a couple of photos.
This is the new 6 position rocket launcher before powder coating in its test fitting stage. The original ones are way too tall for the average guy to get at without standing on the rear seats. not the most comfortable place to be in a rough ocean. The back row of original holders are useless. Way too hard to reach. Im sure this is fine on a pilot house model but not this boat.
Custom polished stainless outrigger mounts and horizontal rod holder. I had these outrigger but they were originally made to mount on the side of the house which these boats don't have without being too low for my tastes. So I had some custom ones made and added a horizontal rod holder for white sea bass fishing in California.
The rear bait boxes were a pretty poor design. The gutter quickly becomes overrun with water and then spills down onto the batteries and wiring and then into the bilge. I added a 1/2" brass sleeve with lip and sealed it with 5200. Then added a hose to let it drain into the bilge with out getting everything wet. I found some D shaped rubber weather stripping and put that around the flat lip to keep the water off of batteries. I added a second D strip to the bottom side of the drop in box and it now keeps all the water off of the batteries.

Sweet boat. I love those outrigger mounts - I may have to borrow that idea for mine. Keep the ideas coming. I'm 6'9" and have to reach for the second row on my Rocket Launchers.

Floor hatch on 2310 with SS spring to hold hatch open. Simply touch spring to deflect and hatch will close.

Rear fishbox/storage compartment that I added a flush mount rod holder in the middle (soon to be replaced by custom SS rod holder) as well as Magma table mounts with 18" extensions for 30" table. It does make the box useless while table is in use but it was the best place to put the table for fish cleaning.

The rear fishbox did not hold ice well so I added LARGE Gap spray foam around the complete box. This is a messy job and I recommend removing batteries and hoses before doing this. The foam wanted to fall out of place if it was injected too fast, especially on the port and starboard sides where it did not have a gap to fill. I cut a this piece of maple plywood for the bottom to make an enclosed area for the foam to fill. This worked out great and it now holds ice for multiple days. I did buy some 1" thick construction foam from Home depot for the lids. I will post pics of that later.
I did have to move the batteries about 2" outboard to accommodate the foam. I also lost about 2" of overhead clearance under the fishbox. I may trim this back slightly to give me better access to bilge area.

The rubber pads on the original scuppers were quite stiff and not keeping water out effectively so I had some rubber laying around that I bought from McMaster Carr. It is silicone based and 1/8" thick. It seals much better than the originals and I can blow debris thru with out much problem.
