Can anyone provide feedback on how these two boats compare in ride. It would seem that the length to beam favors the 23.

Reelysalty,
Thanks for the response. By chance have you been on these boats.
Regards,
Mark

My son ran a mod V 25 Parker with an IO at work and said it was the worst ride he had ever been on. It bow steered terribly and handled very sloppy. We have a 23DVCC and it handles and rides great. Ours has a 225 Yamaha on bracket. The 25 sorry ride may have been due to the IO power.

Could be, the flat bottom certainly had something to do with it.

I have not rode in a 25DV. I have, however rode on several "overwide" cc's.
It is amazing how extra beam kills boat ride.

i have owned both and still have the 25se. the 23 will run obviously run better in heavier seas but the layout of the 25 imho makes up for the ride difference.i really dont fish 3-5' or greater anymore and the room and high gunnals of the 25 are a huge plus. the amount of usable space for in shore fishing and sand bar days is impressive.

the understeer mentioned above had to be a I/O issue, my boat runs fine and tracks straight
