2520 DVSC specifications

We just bought an 04 Parker 2520 DVSC Deep Vee Sport Cabin and are reaching out to the forum for catalog info, specification etc for the model. Ours have a V250 Yamaha.

Any input would be helpful.

Your front windows are made by DSG. Cecil Marine and Boat Outfitters have some Parker parts. If Yamaha motors, I buy parts locally and SIM. Add a Racor fuel and water filter with drain bowl. It you start seeing water, debris and phase separation, have the tank cleaned and pumped out and start using ethanol free gas. RDS made the fuel tank. Contact with make, model , HIN and tank serial number from data plate for drawings. Use Ring Free Plus additive in fuel. Look at adding BEP battery cluster switch. Switches on switch panel are made by Carling. You, rigger or real marine electrician, go thru all electrical wiring , switches , breakers , etc and look at all crimp wire connectors.Cecil Marine has gelcoat. US Composites in FL has elpoxy and supplies. Buy some silicone mixing cups from Amazon. If you have wipers probably from AFI , they will fail and look at Ongaro units. Convert light bulbs to LED or replace with sealed waterproof units. Replace or have on hand , new bilge pumps and switches. You might have a pump in wheel house. Cable Loft in Largo,Fl has anchor rigging. You might upgrade to 8 plait ride. Web search them. Whoever makes your windlass, radar, MFD - download the PDFs manuals. Update any Firmware to latest version. Look at VHF radio and antennae. Digital brand antenna are easier to replace .

Don’t depend on Parker for rapid support. This site is your best owners manual.

look at BEP and Blue Seas for electrical items, tech info and Improved itemd,

have batteries full charged, wait a day then load test them

Install a battery chargers. I installed NOCO.

if using ethanol gas, the best advice is use the bait often and constantly burn up fuel. Fuel additives are full hypes and promises.

when it is time to replace water pump, replace the whole pump.
Replace thermostats, too

clean battery terminals and tighten battery and engine side cables are tight .
Check fuel vent tank hull vent is not blocked or misaligned to allow water to enter fuel tank.

Some eBay and Amazon sellers sell Yamaha Diagnostic Software YDS and software CD contains lot of Yamaha produced factory shop manuals.

check all anodes.
If have bracket check Armstrong site for a hatch, anode , paint, drain plug and dive ladders.

carefully inspect cockpit deck hatches. M2cw replace with new and seal well. These protect your tank from water.

check fuel sender ground wire or replace it.

replace fuel sender gasket and screws.
