anybody have the details (which wire to hook up what) for testing rectifier on 9.9 four stroke. voltmeter read about 12.0-12.6 pushing my 23' boat about 1.8-2.5 knots. The light my ACR switch is green which is correct..

auto pilot (ray st1000) kept saying did not initialize, changed batteries in remote did not help. then i just turned on the switch for the big motor and AP started working again. i will check batteries with voltmeter this am...as i recall a fully charged battery should read 12.0-12.6..correct?

thanks

I have two new 750Amp Hour batteries from West Marine....Just topped both off last weekend - both read 12.3 volts.

Just a shot in the dark here Cap, but is the AP's power wired into the ignition switch?
