Has anyone here added a T-top to an 1801CC and noticed a wind-drag, handling or performance difference? Does it come up on plane a little slower due to the drag? And what sort of weight do these frameworks add to a boat, just as much as one passenger, or much less? I suppose if the boat came with one initially, one would not know the difference. I'm interested in observations from knowing the handling before it was added. Also does the center of gravity raise higher, causing the boat to sway side to side while on the hook?

Thanks,

Jim

I had a T-top with front & side curtains added recently to my 21SE. The only difference is that I'm warmer and dryer now and almost always in the shade. No difference in handling I can tell. Added sail area from curtains does change the way it drifts a little when bottom fishing.
