I'd like to put a new fishfinder either FVC-620 or the 585 and an Arimar B60 thru hull.

Should I go with the 12 degree transducer on my boat (2100 SE) ? Seems the 20 degree would be too much angle. or the Airmar B117 which has no angle. Just want to make sure.

Does anybody have the same or similar set up ?

TIA

You will need the AirMar B60-12 transducer.
The B60-12 has a range from 8-15 degree dead rise rating whereas the B60-20 has a range of 16-24 degrees.
I have the Furuno 585 Fish Finder coupled to a B60-20 on my boat with a 19 degree dead rise and the performance is outstanding. The 1000 watt unit came on the market a year after I purchased the boat or I would have opted for that one.
Either the 600 or 1000 watt transducer coupled to a Furuno Fish Finder you cant go wrong. Make sure that you use it in the manual mode for the best performance. The nice thing about Furuno is that they have knobs and not menus to jump through. Knobs are your friend.
Good Luck on your choice.
