Atlantic Halibut

Finally got the boat offshore with the new motor (you can see the E-Tec behind me) and landed a 42lb, 43" Atlantic Halibut. Rare fish up here in New England. We were tuna fishing, but hooked up on the halibut while bottom fishing for whiting. Awesome surprise!

Awesome catch, even if you weren't fishing for them it was good to catch one just for the halibut. :lol:
