Battery location in a 25 MVSC

I'm wondering if anybody has done anything innovative with battery placement in the 25 Sportcabin. The one I just bought has got two batteries jammed in to the port seat box against the transom. The starboard box has the oil reservoir. The battery switch is also located in the port box.

Apart froom the wet environment, it eliminates any storage in the box and makes it tough to make a clean run for the engine cables through the box.

Suggestions?

Whoa. That is a hell of a job. As I just got this boat yesterday, I might wait a while before I take a saw to my floor. Thanks, though. It looks as though Topshot did really nice, thorough work.

I'd still be interested in some less drastic options if anyone has done anything.

Same problem on my 2320 DVSC both batteries in the back corner give it a list.......
