on my 2300DVCC the batteries are located right behind the baitwell under the lid near the bilge area, the batteries are strapped down with belt type tie down and buckle,I do not like this type of system and was wondering if any one has replaced this with the Attwood Type tray, are they any good,I would think they are better than the starps.

Open to any other ideas of trays.

I have the strap system and one like the attwood that sits all around the top of the batter with threads on both sides of the long edge of the battery to hold it down. I personally prefer the strap but as long as it hold it i dont worry about them too much.

BradV,

I just think that the starp by itself is not enough,I may be wrong, the tray looks to be more rugged and can be screwed down, thanks.
