After researching I ordered a pair of Nikon Stabileyes 12x32 Remanufactured with warranty. They normally sell for ~$1300. These were $600 shipped. Thanks

I haven't bought yet . Worry durability, warranty coverage and batteries going bad

I believe they use (4) AA batteries. Batteries are cheap. I'll throw an extra 4 on the boat.

I'll let you know how they work, this is my first pair of IS binocs. My old pair are 7x standard and I struggled to keep them on target.

I have / had (should be sold tomorrow evening) a pair of 10 x 30 Cannon IS binoculars that I used no more than 2 or 3 times but they worked great.
