Yeah, went looking for stripers with eels, clams and pogies. Out from 7AM to 6PM - tried every spot known to man around the island. I found fishing the North rip very difficult as I couldn't stay on point. Lots of wind made the early morning drift feel like 3 knots. Later at the south west ledge...we caught nothing on flat seas and a drift of 1.5 knots. We saw the seven B's and followed and watched as she jumped from spot to spot. Fluke fishing they were. Watched them pull up a couple so we changed rigs and pulled up a couple of our own. Still I found it disappointing we couldn't find the stripers.
