Bought my boat used and had everything i wanted other than the high stainless bow rail

Am considering removing it completely or perhaps modifying it to a lower profile.

Has anyone here done this before?

If so can you tell me the level of difficulty and perhaps the cost involved.

Thanks

Pete

Pete, Probably the simplest solution would be to go to a local fabricator and have your railing modified to your exact specifications.
It's not a difficult job for someone who fabricates railings and t-tops for a living.

Another option would be to sell your railing and replace it with a shorter factory model.

Probably someone on the Left Coast who would give their eye-teeth for the higher railing. Maybe you could arrange a trade with someone who has your model.

Since they are one piece, they would be difficult (read expensive) to ship...you would have to hire a flatbed.
