Here's the bracket rails that are made by "Ching On" out of San Diego. When the motors are down in the used position they have the full turning radius without interference from the rails. The pics are a little deceiving. I also remove them for trailering.

But...what are they for?

There are many uses but one is a safety measure when fighting a fish and you need to get around the motors.

So you fight the fish while standing on the bracket ? ? ?

It sure makes it alot easier when you need to get around those motors.
