hey guys I have a 2520xl want to change steering with power knob I think factory is a 15 inch would I feel a big difference if I put a 13inch or 14.5 on as far as turning thanks for any infor

Pretty sure the helm is a 15 and the rear station is a 13.
It has been years since I replaced mine, but I did replace both with Edson wheels.

that is what brand I was looking at I don't have 2nd station wish I did I was looking at the14.5 wheel is the 13 to small for inside u think

I would think that the 13 would be too small for the helm, but that's just me.

I just installed an Edson power knob instead of replacing the whole wheel. It's a very clean install and you have to look twice to see it's not integral with the wheel. That is the main reason I spent the extra $$$ on the Edson, and my only regret is I waited so long to do it.

how was it to drill the hole into the wheel
No hole needed. It mounts with a strap that tightens from inside the knob.

Got to say that I have been using a stainless spinner knob on my 2100 for the last 12 or so seasons and it has been great. Haven't needed to adjust it or anything since I first put it on.

Might be worth a try before sinking big bucks into a new wheel.

I mounted a $12 spinner knob from amazon on my 2320 wheel, works perfectly.

Does the knob get in the way at all on the 2320?
I too was thinking of adding a knob.

Thanks
