So had a strange issue that has finally been resolved, ethanol was definitely the culprit.

If I pushed the motor over 5k rpm she would begin to hesitate like it was starved for fuel.

Tried new anti-siphon, water separator, primer ball...still no good.

Inside the rigging tube from the stern to the motor, the fuel line was eaten away and there must have been a small leak, the rubber coupling that holds all the lines and cables going into motor was mush and all eaten up pinching the fuel line.

Also the harness looked like a snake skin from the ethanol. New fuel line, new harness and she doesn't miss a beat over 5k rpm now.

Moral of the story....check inside your rigging tubes once in a while.
