If ur interested in watching traffic on the Bay, check out this new link.

This winter I finished the install of 2 receivers. One on the Gratitude water tower in Rock Hall and the other on the tower of the Betterton Volunteer Fire Company. On a good morning, like today, I monitor 90 ships that are navigating our fishing waters. Any vessel burping an AIS signal should be visible and their track is updated every 60 seconds. Coverage this AM is exceptional and band conditions are very good. Normally I hear south to Taylor's Island and up thru the C&D canal.

Probably won't get SamB II into the water until early May but glad to see that some are already getting nice C&R fish.

wow!! cool site! most of the ships outside of Annapolis are anchored as they are car carriers with no place to off load the cars.

Now if I can access this on my blackberry, I wont need radar :D (kidding of course)

Just looked for it in the iTunes store.
$49.95 for Navionics SPA!

Is that the one?

Yup, early versions got bad reviews. Allot of money for an iphone app but cheaper than a complete handheld GPS and one less thing to carry. I allways have my iPhone with me.
