Bennett Marine says at least 1 inch chord for every foot of boat. In your case minimum 18x9. Your lucky as Parkers have traditional flat transoms (no cutesy styling offsets) and you can add all the tab you want.

For the typical 'flat' tab planes that is correct, but if you don't have the transom real-estate for wide tabs, you can substitute tab planes with 'wings' such as the Bennett M80 or M120 'Sport Tabs'.

Bennett sells the 'wings' separately as an add-on to existing tabs so you could put them on a set of Bennetts or Lencos and gain additional lift.

Search the Projects forum for a post by GW204. Brian added a set of Bennett 'wings' to the tabs on his old Grady CC, and experienced excellent results.

I have m120's on my 1800 and really think they make a huge difference in the ride. Tabs are one of the things that bigger is better.
