I will be starting my boat up this weekend the tank is empty.
I need to add gas and the 2 stroke yammillube as I fill the tank.

Once I do that do I just prime the engine and hope she fires up?

Aany pointers or pitfalls to avoid?

Should I add any ringfree?

fuel and oil...sounds like that is about all you'll need.

Check the fluid level in each cell of the battery and if necessary top off with distilled water. Charge and crank that motor up and have fun.

I should have asked what tasks were accomplished during the winterization? If the lower unit oil was not drained and replaced, you should do that also. If the old oil comes out milky or chocolate milk color, then you have a seal that is bad in the lower unit letting water into the gearbox.

Are you running a pre-mix tank of fuel and oil mix, or do you have oil injection with a separate oil tank?
Ringfree? Absolutely!! At least 1 ounce per 10 gallons of fuel.

She fired up and after the smoke cleared up she ran smoothly.
Took her out to try and catch some toothy critters on the fly to no avail.
I Love my boat!
