The dry weight for an 1801 is listed as 1,950 pounds. I have an 1800, don't know if it has a different dry weight. Mine has a Yamaha 130 Salt Water, plus a 30 gallon bait well, a Minn Kota trolling motor with two batteries, and anchor. I think the gas tank is 40 gallons. Those are the main added weight objects.

Am I OK with a 4,000 pound rated Dutton Lainson electric winch?

I use a Dutton Lainson to load my 2120 onto a bunk trailer. It's a lot more winch than my comparable Powerwinch.

Trailer -- rollers or bunks? If you are just floating on you probably don't need much winch power. Can't hurt though.

I don't see why you would consider a power winch for this combo. I had that same boat/motor setup with a 40gal livewell and usually a load of ice and stripers and it would crank right onto the trailer with a 2300# manual winch.

Windy ramps with river currents. Loading alone. Need to run the winch while lining up the stern.
