engine ????

I found a 2530 in NC for sale the ad says it has a 5.7 volvo V8 efi,
would this be a deisel and if so would you guys recommend this or are outboards a better bet? Ad says it only has 200 hrs on a 01 model

It's a gas motor. It's pretty rare to find a parker with an I/O. It's mostly personal preference and what you like most, both will be good motors.

The man who owns the house where I keep my boat has 2002 model 2510 with the diesel I/O option.
Great boat and very responsive with the dou prop.
Just remember that the engine box does in fact eat up cockpit real estate.
If the boat is in fact the extended model it just might be a tad small back there.

The 5.7L is gas, fuel injected, for an IO. Check to see if freshwater cooled, likely is.
