F200 in-line 4 repower 2320?

Curious if there is any real world experience with anyone who repowered a notched transom mount 2320 with the inline 4 200HP yamaha? I have a 2002 with a 200HPDI. The 200 HPDI gets it done for what I do. Just curious if the F200 has similar performance. Same weight but I can’t seem to find the torque specs to be sure it will get this big boat out of the hole.

Knowing the notched transom boats, I don’t think a bigger and heavier four stroke would be a good option.

Real world opinions would be great if anyone has this engine on a similar 2320.

23ft boats do best with 250Hp.

I have the same boat, yes it’s stern heavy but the splash guard does it’s job well. On my second DF250, should of waited and got the 300. I couldn’t imagine going back to a 200hp, esp 4 cylinder.
