First Parker Pilothouse?

Just curious if anyone knows the history of when Parker Came up with there first Pilothouse design? Someone told me that they built boats for a long time before they built the pilothouses. Any truth to that? Who has the oldest parker on this site? Might be neat to see some pics of the earlier Parkers.

Parker built the 25' center console Sou`westers for awhile before they built their first pilothouse, but I agree... it would be interesting to know when that was.

It would also be interesting to know how close to the present design those first SC models were. :wink:

i heard somewhere that they adapted the design from maycraft, who had it first. however, this comes from a guy who works on one :wink:
