Well my mechanic did the decarb last week and went 52 miles the next day tuna fishing. Not as good as new but decent enough till my new Suzuki arrives. I got about 1.3 or so and engine sounds smooth and quiet.

I have a 2005 2820 Deep V with twin Yamaha 250 4 stroke motors. I would be stoked to get anywhere close to the milage you guys are reporting. On a good day I get 1.1 and sometimes with a full fuel tank and full bait tank, I get about 0.9
I cant afford to use it much anymore.

I know this isnt apples to apples but I wanted to add my two cents. My 2100 CC DV is getting a little better than 3 mpg across the board.
Im running a new Mercury 150 4 stroke and a 15X15 stock screw.
My sweet spot is 4000 RPM at around 24 MPH and 3.5 MPG. Of course that's trusting the Vessel View software and the fuel meter in the engine.

This for me is a good day, fairly calm sea and pretty light.

2019 2520 XLD with twin 200 XCA Yamahas, Reliance Series 14 1/4 X 18 in the sweet spot of 3800 rpm's, 2 people, full fuel, inside this is the best I can do. This is very much in line with the Yamaha Performance bulletin for this boat/motor combination.

Hi Rio, You and I have similar/same rigs, only yours is 2 years newer (ours is 2013/2014 2520 XLD with 2014 Yamaha 300; stock Yamaha prop; I'll come back and 'edit' for the prop #'s if anyone asks; I keep forgetting the numbers)....
When not trolling/trawling at 7-8 mph, we consistently run at 4300 rpms at 28-32 mph. With this we achieve 2.0-2.2 mpg. (according to the Yamaha gauges). I've mentioned this a number of times before, and a few years ago a couple CP folks questioned our numbers. (I've also mentioned that before! ☺)... The numbers are accurate. In fact, I have a least 8 live videos on Youtube showing this. We have the 200 gallon fuel tank, usually kept around 3/4 full (to me, a half-full tank is an empty tank! ☺). Usually 2 people onboard with standard gear. (we also have a very heavy, all 1" S/S full-cockpit bimini). We have the electric head and holding tank; always empty, and never used but once, 4 years ago. Fresh water tank, always full (I think 14 gallons/116 lbs)... I only use the trim tabs to balance the load port-to-starboard. I use the engine tilt to get on plane (tucked in when starting, and brought to mid-way as I get on plane).... I mention all this because weight is an important factor with a planing-hull boat's performance.

Hi guys I’m new to this site and am having problems writing a question to the forum. Not at all trying to hijack the original post but I just got my first Parker. 2120. 2021 mercury 200 4 stroke. There’s a 4 blade 14 5/8 x 15 on it now I took it in the bay and only topped out at 5200 going 30 mph. Can anyone give me a suggestion on a better prop? I ran a 16x16 mercury enertia on my robalo I was thinking about trying the 15x15. Any thoughts? And how do I make my own comment. Thanks guys.

I run almost identical to you in terms of load, getting on plane and trim. It seems like the only real difference is our props. Post or PM those if you ever get a chance. I’d love to get that speed / fuel numbers.

Hi Rio, The prop is what I 'was told' is the 'standard' prop that came on that motor. It's a 2014, Stainless Steel Yamaha Saltwater Series II, 17-T, 15 X 17. (It showed 15 1/2 on the Parker promotional literature photo. I don't know what that means)... I have not 'experimented' with different props as I'm happy with the one we have; happy with how it performs.

Thank you!! I believe I still have the original prop. I’ll put it on and see what happens. Thanks for the response!
