fuel gauge

any body having occasional one blinking bar on fuel gauge? it has nothing to do with actual fuel levels and may come or go on the same trip.

I'd check your wires, as fuel gauges are read by 'resistance', with the higer resistance typically denoting empty. If needed, and there was available wire, I'd even clip them back and re-terminate the sender signal wire. That is usually a pink-colored wire, but sometimes Yamaha uses their own wire color scheme ...
