furuno 667 fishfinder

Can anyone give me feedback on this fishfinder. A friend with much more money to spend is updating his electronics. He gave me this item. Is it worth the install?

Beaches ... if you don't want it, I'll buy it and give my existing Furuno 600L (same model but LCD screen) to my older brother.

Let me take a look at it today, a friend is dropping off everything today. the 667, a furuno gps navigator and icom302. I have not placed electronics on the boat yet, waiting for the right deal and $$$$ to be right. I know he did not replace his transducer, he plans on using the existing one with new system. Supposedly everything else is there, right down to the mounting screws.

Dale, thanks for the interest. I am going to hold onto it. Since it is second hand to me, I would hate to pass on something that might give you problems. I am planning on wiring it over the weekend. Seems to be in great shape. Thanks Again
