Fuse Question

Hi Guys,

I am going to finish up installing the Furuno GP7000 Chartplotter next weekend, in between bottom painting this weekend I mounted the antenna and ran the wire through the roof, up the port side chase and under the dash to the area of the mount....When I hook the unit into the fuse panel, the manual doesn't say what size fuse to use? There is a 3 Amp in line, but what size would you put in the panel?

I would cut out the troublesome in-line fuse and put the 3 amp (if that is what Furuno suggests) in the Parker fuse bank.
