Hey all,

Took the cover off the other day and noticed 2 nice dings in the gel coat up near the bow. Read all the posts I could find on here, thanks for the info. I'm gettin some gelcoat from the dealer here in NJ. The temps here have been in the upper 40's low 50's. Is this too cold to make the repair?

Thanks again

Mike

Put a heat lamp on it and you should be OK.

Just make sure the surrounding gelcoat is also up to temp before you apply it.

I got guart of gelcoat in the mail today from parker. From what I have read on the forum I need to add a hardener. How much do you add to a small amount of gelcoat? Or does that depend on the type of hardener?
Thanks Sean

Roughly 12 drops per oz. MEKP.
Less if it is hot out.
