I love my 21SE, 150 HPDI runs perfectly...but my wife and 9 year-old grow weary of the wind when I make runs >20 minutes. And I would like to venture to the east side of the Ches Bay (> 1 hr) . Also an issue in late fall/early winter, as we boat into Dec. on mild days.

I feel like a PH house does not fit my needs, but a WA would do it. Problem is, used 2310's are few and far between (especially on a modest budget).

Other possibility is adding a t-top with gull-wings. Having never been in a boat using the gull-wings, I have no idea how effective gull wings are for keeping the wind off passengers. A t-top with full enclosure and wings would be a chunk of change. There are days I wish I had a t-top, but mostly I enjoy the total openness.

Anybody with a 21 or 23 CC using the gull-wings care to comment? Seems like you would have to stand tight to the console for the wings to do any good.

Thanks Gentlemen.

NICE. Pardon the pun, but where did you get your wings?

Feel free to PM if you remember supplier and prices. I'm in VA but grew up in NC.

Have a 23SE (love it) w/ a T Top and spray enclosure. Typically keep the front and sides on all season and add the wings when it starts to get cold. Agree, like riding in a car. Warm and dry.
