Helm seat removal on 2120 SC?

I'm having AquaTraction flooring installed in the cabin of my 2015 2120SC. The installers are asking if the helm seat pedestal pulls out of the deck to install the flooring? Does the mounting plate on the deck need to be removed to pull out the pedestal?
