Get ya some real horns - like air compressor horns.
The electrics still work on mine so I can blast all 6 at once with two buttons held down. Gets attention when I need it. The air horns only slow down when the temp hits freezing.
Yes I use the hailer too off the VHF. My hailer cannot "hear" the replies from shore (or other boats) but at least they can hear me in the rain or snow without me opening a window.................Pete
