I’ve been 50 miles off shore, but I can fish inshore in 2 ft of water. that’s why I bought my Parker. I watch the seas carefully and any approaching storms. If there is a slight chance that the seas won’t be perfect, I will not go. I also have radar and auto pilot, so I’m going straight to my waypoints. Fuel tank is 147. If I want to fish the Gulfstream, I have friends with big boats. Just be careful. A mistake out there is a widow maker.

From Hilton Head, R7 navy tower a few times in my 2300dvcc, it's 40 or so miles out. I'm sure I'll go farther out as time goes on

110 miles Parker 110. West side of Cortez bank. Great weather forecasted for 3 days

155 miles each way in a 23 DVCC and a Yamaha F250 (then switched to a F300) in the Gulf of Mexico chasing deepwater grouper.
