I mounted 2 vertical 1x2x30" boards to the V berth - one right by the helm portion of the cabin and the other at the end of the V berth. To those boards I attached 5 holders on each face of the board so I have horizontal interior storage for 10 rods and reels in the V berth which I rarely use.
