Installing livewell foot rest on 21SE

I have a 2007 21SE and recently purchased a Parker foot rest. This installs on the livewell seat base. I removed the access ports on either side of the livewell, and there is no room to get my hands or tools in there to install the foot rest. Has anyone here installed this by themselves? It looks like I need to removed the entire livewell base in order to do so. If someone has done this... what is involved? I appreciate the insight.

That's the one I have. I think I need to remove the livewell seat base in order to install it.. Just wondering how much of a pain this is. The boat is launched and in the water, so chances are this will be next year's off season project. But if it isnt too bad, I might go down to the marina and do it.
