Has anyone rewired the newer Jenson radios Parker installs so the little red light doesn’t come on when battery switch is in the ON position. Is this something that can be accomplished up at the helm station ? Seems like every time I drop off boat to get it serviced they leave the battery switch on and it draws down the batteries. Thanks !

Time to make a Hanging sign for the dealer.

"Turn the Damn Master switch OFF when not in use!" Hang it on the Helm area.

But in answer to you question.....Typical radio [and I did not check Jensen] have a Yellow wire that is put to Hot lead to keep the radio presets active.

When it's time for a new radio......One that will Last......Fusion!

I have installed a bunch of different Fusion models now.....The Lil RA55 is a favorite.....It is compact and has BIG Balls without a amp to suck the lifeblood out of your battery.
In fact I'm probably going to install one in my Hot Rod.

That’s a great idea !! I’ll do that. Thanks for the Radio advice too. I’ll see if I can fix it.
