Got this big girl mid-day on the 4th live lining with macks off Marblehead. Sent her back to have more striper babies and then kept a 30 incher later for the table. by the way, if you are going to release a fish, please hold it this way, and not hanging vertically by the lip. I see lots of pics with guys holding them wrong, and that just messes up their innards.
We also had the weirdest "feeds" I've ever seen later in the day. Gulls were circling in the hundreds way up over the water, but never really coming down to feed. Looked like a lot of white vultures circling over a carcass. Whenever we went directly under them, the sounder would just light up with fish, and a mack thrown in would be devoured immediately. However, no sign of the fish at the surface, only the high flying gulls.
