Went out to Cape Henry this afternoon with Grandson Wally as guide and three doctors looking for stripers. I like hanging around with doctors - they might be able to bring you back if "the big one" hits you. Mojos, stretches, storm lures. LOTS of bait on the scope, a few birds hitting the water. Hooked up one, but couldn't boat it. Hooked and boated a 38 inch 25 pounder. Caught a couple more that were too small for ocean regs.
It was a nice evening, but it was great to be able to sit in that cabin on the way home. Grandson drove home in the dark like a pro and gracefully docked the boat in our tight slip. Life is good...
