Low oil alarm 2004 150 2 stroke

Unfortunately my low oil alarm went off while underway. Oil level bars were flashing. I stopped immediately. Main tank in bilge was half full. Tank on motor was low. Hit reserve main oil switch on motor to see if it would pump oil up and nothing. Where to start troubleshooting? Seams as tho main oil tank not pumping oil up to motor? Was dark so couldn't troubleshot and took a short seatow ride in. My spreader lights were actually flickering which never happened before so maybe I have an electrical problem? Any ideas where to start much appreciated.

Clean cables on battery.
see how many times you can skip wing nuts on the water
I am up to 6

Replace with washers and hex nuts or nylon nuts

Check battery cables on the engine side are tight

Inspect cables at both ends and lugs are secured to the cables

check fuses on OB

How old is the filter on the main oil tank in the bilge? They get sludged up from time to time.

Ok got some troubleshooting done. All battery connections good wing nuts skipped away awhile ago. Pulled remote tank out put brown wire to - and blue + and remote electric oil pump would not turn. Figure pump is shot. Removed tank gonna order new pump. Hopefully that's the answer.

Yup remote oil tank electric pump was shot replaced pump and filter and back in action.
